This is me

I'm Carli Nicole, a wiry-haired brunette with a zest for life. I'm a home-schooled teenager in high school. I'm spunky, expressive, and somewhat set in my ways. I enjoy spending time with my family, and making messes in the kitchen. I have a lot of hobbies, but my favorites would have to be music, photography, and words (poetry, writing, and reading). 

I'm an aspiring photographer.  I started taking my photography seriously about a year ago. I love what photography gives me; an outlet for creativity, memories that are preserved forever, and a way to study the world through a different perspective. 


I'm a country girl. I spent a number of years in the country when I was younger. I love spending time outside, and consequently, I love photographing nature. I'm somewhat of a tomboy when it comes to going outside. I love going barefoot (dirt+bare toes=awesomeness), and bugs don't bother me too much. My favorite season would have to be autumn, when the wind blows through the trees, and orange and golden leaves are found everywhere. I love the way the air feels in the fall--that crisp, slightly chilly atmosphere.

I'm a dreamer. I love imagining places and people, and what my future will be like. I love to read because I always feel like I'm in the world of the characters. I write to put my dreams on paper.  I think there is nothing more dreamy than spending time outside alone on a windy day, or walking in the forest. 

But most of all, I'm just a simple girl, trying to follow God. I strive daily to run the race He has set before me, looking to Him for the strength to go on.
