September

I love the way the author of this poem skillfully creates the mood of fall. The weather is finally getting cooler, which feels wonderful. I love this transition time when it's not too cool and not too hot. Ah, Fall weather!

Summer's End

I can't believe it's already the middle of September. The summer months and flown by so fast that I can barely believe that fall is already upon us. I'm finally getting around posting some pictures that have been sitting on my desktop. This summer has been full of so many things....

Another photo contest

I'm entering another contest over at

  I took this picture at a national park. The sharp contrasts are interesting, I think. I love flowers.

I'm going to enter another contest at allie photography, since the last contest I entered in here, was cancelled. I love this shot. It is a picture of my brother...I love him so much. He is a great brother to me. I just love 'thoughtful' pictures...this one is hopeful somehow.  It was a beautiful sunset out on the lake. The golden sunset was gorgeous....don't you just love sunsets?
